Job summary

RECRUIT NOW SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a dedicated R&D Executive to lead formulation and blending activities in a food manufacturing setting.

You will develop and optimise blending formulations, calculate ingredient ratios, and adjust recipes based on material availability to meet quality standards. This role requires a Diploma/Degree in Food Science and strong Excel skills for data analysis, inventory management, and material planning.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Food Science required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, lookups and Pivot Tables.
• Inventory management and material planning experience.
• Willingness to work longer hours when required to support production and business needs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimise blending formulations using available raw materials.
• Calculate ingredient ratios to meet specifications and quality standards.
• Adjust formulations based on material availability and stock levels.
• Perform calculations for blending, yield, material consumption and production quantities.
• Monitor raw material inventory and recommend suitable materials for blending.
• Maintain accurate formulation records, calculations and inventory data.
• Use Excel to analyse formulations, stock levels and material consumption.
• Collaborate with Production and Quality teams on blending trials and verification of finished products.
• Investigate formulation variances and recommend adjustments.
• Support cost optimisation while maintaining product standards.
