Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in mechanical design or machine automation.
• Proficient in SolidWorks, CREO or NX.
• Experience with automation technologies, PLCs, robotics, and control systems.
• Familiarity with ISO 13485, additive manufacturing or 3D printing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of automation machines and systems for performance, efficiency, and safety.
• Provide technical guidance in mechanical design and automation projects.
• Evaluate new technologies and propose innovative engineering solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical, electrical, control and software systems into production processes.
• Develop project proposals for new products and customer enquiries.
• Lead and coordinate engineering programmes to ensure successful project execution.
