Job summary

HPS PARTNERS PTE. LTD. seeks a Mechanical Design Engineer to drive automation development and system integration for production operations. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to meet performance, productivity and safety requirements.

Responsibilities include advising project teams on automation concepts, evaluating new technologies, and leading programmes in line with business priorities. A minimum of 2 years in mechanical design or automation is expected.

Qualifications

Degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline.
At least 2 years of experience in mechanical design or automation.
Proficiency with SolidWorks/Creo/NX or similar design software.
Experience designing mechanical systems and automation equipment.
Knowledge of PLC programming and robotics.

Responsibilities

Drive the development of automated equipment and systems to meet performance, productivity and safety requirements.
Advise project teams on automation concepts and resolve technical design challenges.
Evaluate emerging technologies and assess their feasibility for improving equipment and processes.
Work with multidisciplinary teams to integrate mechanical, control, electronic and software elements into production operations.
Develop and manage project proposals for new products and customer enquiries.
Lead assigned programmes, keeping delivery aligned with business priorities.
