Job summary

Talentvis Singapore Pte Ltd is hiring a Mechanical Design Engineer to drive new products from concept through production. You will create 3D models, drawings, and renderings using Creo or SolidWorks, applying GD&T and tolerance analysis to ensure manufacturability.

The role requires collaborating with Manufacturing, Quality, PM, and suppliers to deliver robust solutions and maintain comprehensive documentation.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of mechanical design, product development, or R&D engineering.
• Proficient in Creo or SolidWorks for 3D modelling and drawings.
• Strong understanding of GD&T and tolerance analysis.
• Experience with plastic injection moulding, sheet metal, machining, and assembly.
• Good industrial design sketching and product rendering skills.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of new products from concept to production.

• Maintain engineering documentation including drawings, BOMs, ECOs, and technical reports.
• Ensure compliance with engineering standards, project timelines, and GMP requirements.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, Industrial Design, or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in mechanical design, product development, or R&D engineering.
• Proficient in Creo or SolidWorks for3D modelling and engineering drawings.
• Strong understanding of GD&T, tolerance analysis, and manufacturing processes such as plastic injection moulding, sheet metal fabrication, machining, and assembly.
• Good industrial design sketching and product rendering skills.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
• Self-motivated, resourceful, and able to work independently with a strong sense of ownership.
