RECRUITPEDIA PTE. LTD., on behalf of a leading semiconductor equipment and automation client in Singapore, is seeking a Software Engineer (R&D) to support product development and innovation initiatives.

You will develop and maintain software for industrial automation, design control software, and collaborate across mechanical, electrical, and control teams. This role offers exposure to AI/ML and data analytics in a manufacturing context.

Qualifications

Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
Experience in software development within manufacturing, industrial automation, or high-tech engineering environments preferred.
Proficient in C++ programming for application, embedded, or automation software development.

Responsibilities

Develop, enhance, and maintain software applications for advanced industrial automation and manufacturing equipment.
Design and implement control software, data acquisition modules, and equipment interface functionalities.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to integrate software with mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
Conduct software validation, troubleshooting, performance optimization, and system enhancements.
Prepare technical documentation while ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.
