Job summary

HSBC in Singapore is seeking a Quantum Tech Programme Manager to lead the quantum initiative on-site from concept to production. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, researchers and internal stakeholders to shape new use cases and ensure delivery aligns with strategic goals.

You will oversee portfolio governance, manage risks and dependencies, and report progress to senior leadership while driving value realisation across the initiative in a fast-evolving tech landscape.

Qualifications

• Experience leading multi-workstream technology programmes; accreditation preferred (e.g., Agile, Scrum, PMP, MSP).
• Strong strategic and commercial awareness with ability to link tech initiatives to business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Identify and shape new business use cases for quantum technologies with R&D and stakeholders.
• Manage relationships with internal teams, government bodies, industry partners to drive collaboration and adoption.
• Oversee the programme lifecycle from concept to PoC to production, aligning with strategy and stakeholder needs.
• Develop and govern the quantum technology portfolio, with regular steering committee updates and risk tracking.
• Align roadmap and delivery plans with strategic objectives and track realised value.
• Proactively manage risks, dependencies and resources to maintain delivery pace and quality.
