Job summary

Qualifications

• Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma or Bachelor degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of working experience in the related field.
• Knowledge of building & construction work.
• Good financial and numeracy management skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiating skills.
• Ability to absorb complex information and assess requirements readily.

Responsibilities

• Take-offs, pricing, inking, and calling for sub-contractor quotes for tenders and variations.
• Coordinate with sub-contractors and suppliers.
• Work out budgets and monitor costs including subcontractor claims and variation orders.
• Prepare updated schedules of rates and inform management regularly.
• Assist in Tender analysis and contract sum preparation.
• Negotiate and work effectively in a team environment.
