Job summary

ANRADUS PTE. LTD. is seeking a Quantity Surveyor for our Woodlands project in Singapore. The role involves tendering, cost control, and coordination with Contracts and site teams to ensure project profitability.

You will prepare cost estimates, manage Bills of Quantities, evaluate tenders, and supervise progress claims. Travel to project sites and meetings is required; training is provided for candidates with limited experience. Permanent, five-day work week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or an equivalent qualification.
• Good communication, interpersonal, analytical, negotiation, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team, with good time management and organisational skills.
• Willing to travel to project sites and attend site meetings or inspections as required.
• Candidates without experience are encouraged to apply; training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Source and review tender opportunities, attend site show rounds, and understand project scope and requirements.
• Assist with quantity take-offs, Bills of Quantities (BQ), tender specifications, and quotation reviews.
• Prepare cost comparisons and tender evaluations, and coordinate timely tender submissions with the Contracts Manager / Managing Director.
• Identify and maintain a reliable list of qualified subcontractors and suppliers for competitive tendering and procurement.
• Source and evaluate subcontractors, suppliers, and materials, and prepare Letters of Award for timely appointment.
• Prepare and verify monthly progress claims for projects, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Monitor and administer variation orders, claims, and contractual matters, coordinating with site teams to resolve issues.
• Monitor project costs against budgets and ensure costs remain within approved limits.
