Job summary

KYK CONSTRUCTION PTE. LTD. is seeking a Quantity Surveyor with 2–3 years of steelwork experience to prepare cost estimates, BOQs, and tender proposals. You will review contracts, manage subcontracts and variations, and handle monthly claims to ensure timely payments.

You will track budgets, cost control, and cash flow, preparing management reports and liaising with project, engineering, and procurement teams. Client meetings are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in QS, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• 2–3 years' experience in steelwork QS or contract admin.
• Strong in cost estimation, negotiation and drawing interpretation.
• Independent, detail-oriented, and good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates, BOQs, MTOs, and tender proposals for steel/metal works.
• Review contracts, drawings, and specs; manage subcontracts and variations.
• Handle monthly claims, VOs, and final accounts; ensure timely payment and documentation.
• Track budgets, cost control, and cash flow; prepare reports for management.
• Liaise with project, engineering, and procurement teams; attend client meetings.
• Other ad-hoc duties.
