Job summary

STEELTECH INDUSTRIES PTE. LTD. is seeking a qualified Quantity Surveyor to support tenders and projects in Singapore. You will work closely with the QS manager, liaise with site in-charges, and prepare progressive and variation claims.

Responsibilities include quantity measurement, costing, pre- and post-contract estimations, contract administration for subcontracts and main contracts, and timely progress claim follow-up. English communication required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in QS / Building or equivalent.
• Experience in steelwork/metalwork preferred.
• Minimum 3 years in quantity estimating/surveying in construction.
• Good communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the QS manager on tenders and projects.
• Liaise with the site in-charge for progress of work on site.
• Prepare progressive claims and potential variation claims at regular intervals.
• Quantity measurement, costing and estimation for both pre‑contract and post‑contract.
• Certificate and evaluate progress work done; include contract administration for variations for subcontracts and main contracts.
• Prepare and follow up monthly progress claims in a timely manner.
• Perform other QS‑related duties as assigned.
