Job summary

BAYES RECRUITMENT PTE. LTD. is seeking a seasoned Quantity Surveyor in Singapore to prepare subcontract packages, evaluate tenders, and administer contracts for civil/infrastructure projects.

You will manage variations, EOT submissions, progress claims, and cost analysis, ensuring value engineering and compliance. The role requires 5+ years of QS experience, proficiency in MS Office and QS software, and strong cost control and contract administration skills.

Qualifications

• Degree in quantity surveying, civil engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant quantity surveying experience in civil or infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of contract administration, cost control and quantity measurement.
• Proficient in MS Office and quantity surveying software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and evaluate subcontract packages, tender documents, and quotations.
• Administer contracts, including variations, claims, and Extension of Time (EOT) submissions.
• Prepare and submit progress claims, payment certificates, and final accounts.
• Evaluate and certify subcontractor progress claims and variation orders.
• Monitor project costs, budgets, cash flow, and forecast project expenditure.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, consultants, subcontractors, and clients on commercial and contractual matters.
• Maintain contract records, correspondence, and commercial documentation.
• Identify contractual risks and recommend cost-saving and value engineering initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with contract conditions, company procedures, and project requirements.
• Prepare monthly commercial reports and support management with cost analysis and project financial performance.
• Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Project Manager or Commercial Manager.
