Job summary

SWEE BUILDERS PTE LTD is seeking a Quantity Surveyor with at least 5 years in civil and infrastructure to ensure client requirements are met through careful review of contract documents.

You will confirm in-house capability, resolve differences, and prepare EOTs, progress claims, variation orders, and final accounts while coordinating with sub-contractors and the Project Manager for site reports and requisitions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in QS or civil engineering.
• At least 5 years of experience in civil and infrastructure.
• Proficient with Blue Beam and MS Office.
• Strong English communication skills (written and spoken).
• Proactive with good teamwork.

• The Quantity Surveyor is reporting to the Managing Director / Contract Manager / Tender Manager.
• Ensure clear understanding of clients' needs through review of the Contract documents.
• Ensure confirmation of in-house capability and resolution of all differences.
• Preparation of EOT, progress claim, variation order and final accounts.
• Preparation of sub-contracts and assess / evaluate and recommend sub-contractors / suppliers for tender awards.
• Prepare contract documents for sub-contractors.
• Preparation of sub-contractors' payment and certification.
• Assist the Project Manager in the preparation of progress, site reports and site material requisition.
• Other Ad-Hoc related duties assigned by the company.

Requirements:

• Minimum bachelor degree in QS, BC, BS, CS or civil engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of related experience in civil and infrastructure.
• Computer literacy (Blue Beam & MS Office).
• Good reasoning thinking skills.
• Good level of English (speaking & writing).
• Proactive and good working attitude.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
