Job summary

INTUIT RECRUITMENT PTE. LTD. seeks a Quantity Surveyor / Tender Executive in Singapore to join a dynamic construction team. Location is Central with MRT access; standard hours are 9AM–6PM, Monday to Friday.

The role focuses on tendering, quantity take-offs, pricing, and pre/post-contract duties, requiring a Diploma in Quantity Surveying and 3+ years in the field, including HDB/condominium projects.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Quantity Surveying or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the construction industry, including HDB or Condominiums.
• Strong knowledge of contract negotiation and administration.
• Experience in pre-contract roles or mixed pre/post-contract functions.
• Familiar with Glodon software.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage tender documents analysis and master project drawings and specs.
• Perform bidding quantity calculations and guide junior staff.
• Prepare bills of quantities and conduct detailed take-offs.
• Source and liaise with suppliers and subcontractors for pricing.
• Manage subcontractor solicitation and negotiate competitive prices.
• Consolidate bidding calculations and documentation from the team.
• Develop and maintain unit price tables for tender submissions.
• Compile final bidding quotations for management review.
• Archive tender data and documentation.
• Perform risk analysis, value management and cost control during tender.

Our esteemed client in the Construction industry is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team:

• Employment Type: Permanent
• Position: Quantity Surveyor / Tender Executive
• Location: Central (Nearest MRT: Mattar)
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9AM to 6PM
• Salary Package: Up to $6,800 + Bonus

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage the collection and analysis of tender documents, including mastering project drawings and specifications.
• Perform the bidding quantity calculation process and provide guidance to junior staff members.
• Prepare accurate bills of quantities and carry out detailed quantity take-offs for projects.
• Source and liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to collate and compare pricing.
• Manage the subcontractor solicitation process, organizing negotiations to secure competitive prices.
• Consolidate and check bidding calculations and documentation from team members.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive unit price tables for tender submissions.
• Compile the final bidding quotation list and submit it to department management for review.
• Oversee the archiving of all tender offer data and documentation.
• Perform risk analysis, value management, and cost control activities during the tender phase.

Job Requirements:

• At least a Diploma in Quantity Surveying or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience working in the construction industry, with experience in handling HDB or Condominiums projects.
• Strong knowledge of contract negotiation and administration.
• Experience in a pre-contract role, or a mixture of both pre and post-contract functions.
