Job summary

CHINA COMMUNICATIONS CONSTRUCTION COMPANY LIMITED (SINGAPORE BRANCH) is seeking a proactive Quantity Surveyor to join the Commercial team in Singapore. You will manage project costs, prepare tender and contract documents, and support the project team to ensure cost efficiency on construction projects located in Singapore, with on-site involvement in the Yishun area near Khatib MRT.

The role requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying and 2–3 years of experience, with preferred knowledge

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• 2–3 years of relevant working experience.
• Knowledge of civil and architectural works preferred.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage measurements and cost estimates for construction projects, from initial calculations to final accounts.
• Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities.
• Evaluate tenders from contractors and subcontractors, and negotiate where necessary.
• Perform quantity take-offs and prepare cost estimates for projects and tender submissions.
• Review and interpret C&S, Architectural, and M&E drawings.
• Prepare contract documentation in accordance with regulations and standards.
• Conduct cost analysis and monitor project costs to ensure objectives are achieved.
• Assess payments and variation works for clients and subcontractors to ensure smooth workflow.
• Liaise with clients, management, and subcontractors and monitor progress of main and sub-contract works.
• Track project progress and valuation of variations for interim payments and final accounts.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, processes, and procedures.

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join our Commercial team. This role focuses on managing project costs, preparing tender and contract documents, conducting quantity take-offs, and supporting the project team in ensuring cost efficiency and smooth financial administration for construction projects. Work location: Yishun area, near to Khatib MRT

Key Responsibilities

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant working experience.
• Knowledge of both civil and architectural works is preferred.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Experience in building, HDB, or condominium projects, or projects of similar scale, complexity, and nature, will be an advantage.
