Job summary

Penta-Ocean Construction Co., Ltd. in Singapore is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor/Cost Controller to support project procurement, cost planning and contract administration. You will manage claims, variations and final accounts while ensuring cost control at site in Tuas.

The role requires a Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering or QS-related field and at least 5 years of relevant experience, with strong organizing and problemdsolving skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or Building Services Management or Quantity Surveying.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• Based at the project site in Tuas.

Responsibilities

• Source quotations for materials and services.
• Prepare subcontractor and supplier procurement, agreements and payments.
• Evaluate price comparisons and costing summaries.
• Plan costs, estimate, and measure quantities.
• Manage claims, variation orders, budgets and cost control.
• Prepare settlement of final accounts.
• Maintain project documentation.
• Administer contracts.
• Handle extensions of time, terms and conditions, and loss and expense claims.

• Responsible for claims, variation orders, budget & cost control
• Prepare settlement of final account
• Maintenance of project documentations
• Manage Contracts administration
• Handle issues including extension of time, terms and condition, loss and expenses claim

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or Building Services Management or Quantity Surveying
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
• Strong organizing skills and timely completion of tasks assigned with the ability of manual material items for variation claims
• Strong ability in problem solving and organizing skills are desirable
• Work location will be based at the project site in Tuas
