Job summary

YONG LEE PLUMBING&SANITARY PTE. LTD. seeks a Quantity Surveyor to perform quantity take-offs, source suppliers and sub-contractors, and prepare cost summaries for tender submissions.

You will study tender and contract documents, identify discrepancies, prepare quotations, and manage bids, budget tracking, and final accounts.

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Quantity Surveying or related discipline.
• 1–2 years of similar capacity experience in sanitary & plumbing or M&E would be an advantage.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, BIM, Photoshop and MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Carry out Quantity Take off for the project including sourcing for suppliers and sub-contractors, collating price comparisons and costing summary.
• Study and identify discrepancies in tender/contract documents.
• Produce quantity measurement within the targeted timeline.
• Prepare and call quotations including analyzing and evaluating for costing of tender; or negotiate and award of subcontracts for projects.
• Ensure completeness and timely submission of tender bids.
• Prepare cost budget, track changes in design/construction work and adjust budget projects accordingly.
• Review and prepare agreements for award to subcontractors and suppliers.
• Certify and evaluate progress work done, including contract administration for variations for both subcontract and main contract works.
• Assess and submit monthly progress claims, and recommend the subcontractor's monthly progress payment.
• Finalise subcontract and main contract's final account.
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Proficient in AutoCAD, BIM, Photoshop and MS OfficeApplications.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-pacedenvironment.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
