Job summary

Crown Rachel Pte. Ltd. is seeking an experienced M&E Quantity Surveyor to lead all matters related to M&E quantities and cost control. The role covers tendering, pre- and post-contract administration, variation assessment and final accounts, with a procurement focus on selecting suitable M&E subcontractors.

The successful candidate will work closely with the project team, ensuring accurate cost advice, contract compliance, and timely reporting throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Recognized Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying or Mechanical & Electrical Engineering with relevant working experience as M&E QS in M&E projects.
• Preferably for M&E QS with M&E experience
• Possess minimum 5 years of working experience in Project Tendering/Costing experience
• Strong technical background with sound knowledge of pre- and post-contract duties
• Good working knowledge of forms/conditions of contract
• Able to work independently and be a good team player as well
• Possess excellent people skills with the ability to integrate within a multi-disciplinary team and communicate with external consultants and clients

Responsibilities

• Lead on all M&E Quantity Surveyor related matters.
• Responsible for the full suite of M&E QS duties, from tender to pre-contract, post-contract administration such as review of contracts, quantity take-offs, preparing BOQs, sourcing and selecting subcontractors for M&E disciplines.
• Formulate procurement strategy; prepare tender documents, cost reports and cost plans; administer tender process; evaluate tenders and submit tender recommendation reports.
• Review variation orders; assess variation costs, monthly financial reports; process progress payments and final accounts.
• Work closely with the Project Team to provide cost and financial advice as well as contractual support during pre-construction, construction and post-construction stages
