Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) or Quantity Surveying.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for mechanical and electrical works at various project stages, including feasibility, design, and construction.
• Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring accurate forecasting and monitoring of costs.
• Tender documents preparation including bill of quantities, specifications, and scope of work for M&E contracts.
• Evaluate tenders, negotiate with contractors, and make recommendations for contract awards.
• Review contracts for compliance and manage variations or claims.
• Prepare progress claims and final accounts for clients and contractors.
• Monitor expenditures and report on cost performance against budgets; propose corrective actions.
• Conduct site visits to assess progress, quality, and compliance with design specifications.
• Liaise with project teams to resolve discrepancies related to M&E works.

• Tendering and Procurement:
• Prepare tender documents, including bill of quantities, specifications, and scope of work for M&E contracts.

• Contract Management:
• Review and analyze contracts to ensure compliance with terms and conditions, and manage any variations or claims.
• Prepare and submit progress claims, final accounts, and related documentation to clients and contractors.
• Cost Control and Reporting:
• Monitor project expenditures and performance against budgets, identifying any deviations and implementing corrective actions.
• Provide regular cost reports and financial forecasts to project management and stakeholders.
• Site Visits and Assessments:
• Conduct site visits to assess progress, quality of work, and compliance with design specifications.
• Liaise with project teams to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to M&E works.
