Job summary

AMXON CONSTRUCTORS PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor with interior design and architecture project experience to manage costing, tendering and contract administration for commercial, residential and fit-out projects.

You will prepare cost estimates and budgets, conduct quantity take-offs and Bills of Quantities, source quotations, monitor costs and variations, and liaise with architects, designers, contractors and clients to ensure value and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Architecture, Interior Design or related field.
• Min 3–5 years of QS experience in Interior Design / Architectural projects.
• Familiar with fit-out works, renovation and construction costing.
• Knowledge of contract administration and tender procedures.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, AutoCAD, and QS software.
• Good negotiation and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and meet project deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimation, budgeting and tender documents.
• Conduct quantity take-off and prepare Bills of Quantities (BQ).
• Source and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Monitor project costs and variations throughout project execution.
• Prepare progress claims, payment certifications and final accounts.
• Liaise closely with architects, designers, consultants, contractors and clients.
• Review contract documents and ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Assist project team in cost control and value engineering.
• Attend site meetings and monitor project progress.
