Job summary

KIMLY CONSTRUCTION PRIVATE LIMITED in Singapore is seeking a Quantity Surveyor with 4+ years of experience to manage cost estimation, tendering, and contract administration for construction projects. You will support RFQ processes, prepare budgets and cash flows, and review subcontracts to ensure compliance with specifications and methods of construction.

The role emphasizes accuracy, independent work, and strong communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Degree / Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Facilities Management or a related field
• At least 4 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry
• Preferred working experience with main contractors in Singapore
• Proficiency in cost estimation, project cost management, and contract administration
• Experience in contract management
• Attention to detail and methodical approach to work
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Support RFQ and work with project team to ensure timely award of subcontractors and suppliers
• Assist in preparing cost budget and cash-flow for project, track design/construction changes and adjust budgets
• Compile documents & LOA for first cut review by SQS
• Assist in extension of time and costs claims
• Communicate with technical team to ensure quotations meet specifications and construction methods
• Produce quantity measurement within targeted timeline
• Prepare and call quotations, including analyzing and evaluating for costing of tender; negotiate and award subcontracts
• Review and prepare agreements for award to subcontractors and suppliers
• Certify and evaluate progress work, including contract administration for variations
• Assess and submit monthly progress claim and recommend subcontractor’s monthly progress payment
• Finalise subcontract and main contract final accounts
• Prepare detailed quantities and summaries per BQ, As-Built Drawings, for VO works
