Job summary

CYCLECT ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. seeks an experienced Quantity Surveyor (Electrical) to manage post-contract commercial matters, focusing on Variation Orders and contractual claims.

The role involves identifying additional works, substantiating claims and negotiating with clients, consultants and main contractors to recover costs. You will prepare measurements, cost estimates and rate build-ups, negotiate VO settlements, and manage progress claims and final accounts in a collaborative project

Qualifications

• Diploma in QS or related field required.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant QS/commercial experience.
• Experience with VO management on Electrical/M&E projects.
• Strong negotiation and documentation skills.

Requirements

• Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Electrical Engineering, Building, Construction Management or equivalent.

• Hands-on experience in preparing, substantiating and negotiating VOs with clients/main contractors.
• Contractor/subcontractor-side experience preferred.
• Strong commercial, negotiation and documentation skills.
