Job summary

Lotte Engineering & Construction Co,Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Quantity Surveyor who can measure quantities from drawings, prepare variation orders, and manage sub-contractor payments. Ideal candidates have a Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, with meticulous, independent work habits and prior QS experience, preferably on LTA projects.

Qualifications

• Able to work independently, meticulous, analytical for long-term service.
• Working experience as a Quantity Surveyor is preferred, LTA project

Responsibilities

• Measure and take off quantities from drawings.
• Prepare Variation Orders, claims, final accounts, settlement and sub-contractor payments.
• Obtain quotations, liaise and negotiate with sub-contractors and suppliers.
• Prepare cost analysis and present cost comparisons to management.
• Attend negotiations and meetings with sub-contractors and suppliers as needed.
• Work with Engineering Department to ensure compliance with technical standards.
• Assist contractual team on contractual claims to manage project scope.
• Monitor procurement and delivery orders.
• Provide technical support to construction and design teams.

• Responsible for measuring and taking off quantities from drawings.

  Prepare Variation Orders, claims, final accounts, settlement and sub-contractor payments.

  Obtaining quotations, liaising and negotiate with sub-contractors and suppliers.

  Prepare, analyze and present cost comparison to management.

  Attend negotiations, discussions, meetings with sub-contractors and suppliers where necessary.

  Work with Engineering Department to oversee and ensure compliance with technical standards.

  Prepare cost analysis and form cost reduction strategies to ensure the overall value is enhanced for the project.

  Assist Contractual team on contractual claims so that the project scope is managed.

  Coordinate with various department related to cost issue.

  Monitor procurement and delivery orders.

  To assist the Project Control Manager with all other QS related job as required.

  Technical support to construction and design teams.

  Check drawings compliance and assist to update drawings

Job Requirement
