Job summary

NAN HUAT ALUMINIUM & GLASS PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a qualified Quantity Surveyor to manage tendering, cost estimation, and procurement for aluminium and glass projects.

You will review tender documents, extract quantities, prepare take-offs, and evaluate costings, while monitoring subcontractor bids and variations to ensure compliant, competitive submissions. The role includes preparing technical details for submissions, coordinating procurement schedules, ensuring bonds and warranties

Qualifications

• Experience in quantity surveying for construction projects.
• Strong reading of drawings and tender documents.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all works related to Quantity Surveyor duties.
• Reviews tender documents including drawing and business documents to understand project details
• Involved in tender preparation and participation
• Sourcing materials and send quotation inquiries to the vendors and subcontractors, comparison of quotes, review of prices, to ensure comply to tender requirement
• Prepare cost estimation, quantity take-off and cost evaluation.
• Preparation of technical details & costing for tender submission
• Prepare procurement and sub-contract schedule
• Ensure submission of bonds / warranties from sub-contractors (if any)
• Prepare report of cost summary
• Preparing payment claims, verifying payment to sub-contractors, ensuring all variations to contract are captured and tracking VOs
• Carry out other Contracts Administration activities.
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned (example, preparation and issuance of invoices to customer)
• Specialise in Aluminium & glass trade.
