Job summary

TALENTSIS PTE. LTD. is seeking a Quantity Surveyor for involvement in multiple stages of construction projects, from cost planning to final accounts. Build or advance your career in a consultancy environment with exposure to cost management and contract administration.

The role requires strong analytical, negotiation and communication skills, proficiency in MS Excel, and the ability to work with a team. Fresh graduates may be considered for junior roles.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying or a relevant discipline.
• Fresh graduates may be considered for junior positions.
• Experience with cost estimation, measurement, BOQ, variations and final accounts is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct quantity take-offs and prepare measurement documentation for construction works.
• Assist with the preparation and review of Bills of Quantities.
• Monitor project costs and support cost estimation and budgeting activities.
• Assess variations and assist with the evaluation and pricing of commercial claims.
• Review monthly progress claims and assist with final account preparation.
• Support tender exercises, contract administration and related documentation.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors and suppliers on commercial and cost-related matters.
• Obtain and compare supplier/subcontractor quotations where required.
• Maintain organised records of project measurements, claims, quotations and other documentation.
• Work closely with senior team members and provide support to junior colleagues where applicable.
