Job summary

HUI HE CONSTRUCTION PTE. LTD. is seeking a qualified Quantity Surveyor to support contract administration and cost control on ongoing construction projects in Singapore.

The role focuses on interpreting contract documents, tender support, and cost breakdowns to ensure commercial success. You will liaise with main contractors and suppliers, prepare contract awards, certificates, and variations, and assist in final accounts and commercial settlements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of QS experience in construction.
• Proven ability in contract negotiation, contract administration & variation orders.
• Independent, meticulous, analytical and able to meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Understand and interpret contract documents and drawings.
• Assist in tendering process; performance measurement and cost breakdown.
• Liaise with main contractors, suppliers and other project parties.
• Prepare awards of contracts, payment certificates, bills of quantities and related documents.
• Assist in final account settlements and commercial settlements.
• Identify and evaluate variation work; analyze project costing.

Job description

QS:-

• Understand and reasonably interpret contract documents & drawing


• Assist in the tendering process; performance measurement and cost breakdown


• Liaise with main contractors, suppliers & other parties involved in the project


• Prepare awards of contracts, payment certification, bills of quantities and other contract-related documents to main-con/supplier


• Assist in final account settlement/ commercial settlement of project account


• Identify and evaluate variation work


• To analyze project costing with the relevant breakdown

Job Requirements:

• 3 years and above experience as QS in construction companies


• Proven ability in contract negotiation, contract administration & variation orders


• Able to work independently, be meticulous, analytical with excellent problem-solving skills, proactive, a good team player & able to meet tight deadlines
