Job summary

ACME ASSOCIATES PTE. LTD. is seeking a Quantity Surveying professional with 1+ year of experience in MEP, preferably in data centres or critical environments.

You will prepare costs, compile tenders, and support subcontractor payments while liaising with project teams. • Degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying required with 1+ year of experience in MEP, preferably data centres or critical environments.
• Familiarity with project management tools and safety certifications is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse costing for tenders and prepare, compile and submit progress claims with updated payment records.
• Check and prepare progress payment certificates for sub-contractors including site valuations with supervisors.
• Prepare documents for inviting quotations; prepare comparison and tender reports.
• Assist in pre- and post-contract administration including debit notes, variations, and final accounts.
• Perform risk and value management and cost control, plus cost estimation and quantity take-off for materials procurement.
• Assist in contractual matters such as extensions of time and correspondences; liaise with main contractors, sub-contractors, clients and project teams.
• Prepare drawings or details design documents using AutoCAD and attend project/site meetings.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse costing for tenders.
• Prepare, compile and submit progress claim in timely manner including updating payment records.
• Check & prepare progress payment certificates for all sub-contractors including site valuations with supervisors.
• Prepare document for inviting quotations, prepare comparison, tender report.
• Be involved in pre and post contract administration duties including debit notes for back-charges, purchases on behalf of sub-contractors, variations, finalize sub accounts in the period of final measurement.
• Perform risk and value management and cost control.
• Prepare cost estimation, quantity take-off for materials procurement, cost evaluations, pre-qualification of sub-contractors.
• Assist in contractual matters such as extension of time, contractual correspondences, etc;
• Liaise with main contractors, sub-contractors, clients, project team, in-house factories etc.
• Prepare drawings or details design documents using AutoCAD.
• Attend to project & site meetings.
• Perform any other ad-hoc duties.

Requirements

• Degree/Diploma with at least 1 year of experience in Quantity Surveying (MEP), preferably in data centre or critical environment.

(ITE holder with relevant years of experience or fresh degree/diploma holder can be considered)

• Knowledge in project management tools, solutions, and techniques an advantage.
• Certification in workplace safety (eg. WSQ, WSH) preferred.
• Familiarity with Authority Requirement and Code of Practice preferred.
• Positive proactive attitude and ethical behaviour.
• Team player with ability to work independently and resolve challenges in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and collaborative skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
