Job summary

TAI HUP CONSTRUCTION PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a diligent Quantity Surveying/Project Coordination professional to manage cost control, vendor sourcing, and tendering support across multiple projects.

You will prepare monthly progress claims, monitor budgets, and finalize project accounts with clients and vendors, working both independently and in teams to meet tight deadlines.

Diploma or degree in Building/Civil Eng or QS is preferred; relevant construction experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Obtain sub-contractors and suppliers' quotations for costing.
• Source for new vendors and perform cost comparisons.
• Evaluate and certify contracts.
• Prepare monthly progress claims and cost analysis reports.
• Monitor budget and track project expenditures.
• Prepare letter of award to sub-contractors.
• Identify variations and valuations for projects.
• Finalize project accounts with clients and vendors.
• Update material quantity and price lists per project.
• Assist in tendering quantity taking off.
• Perform other adhoc tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

• At least Diploma / Degree, preferably in Building / Civil Engineering / Quantity Surveying.
• Relevant experience in Construction will be added advantage.
• Experience in project management or project coordination with A1 contractor is preferred.
• Strong planning and organizational skills to meet tight deadlines.
• Able to work independently and in teams with minimum supervision.
