Job summary

GL M&E PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a seasoned commercial professional to manage the financials of construction projects, ensuring on-budget delivery and contractual compliance.

You will liaise with clients and third parties on variations, claims and payments, review tender specs, and coordinate tender submissions with the construction team. This role requires meticulous budgeting and strong stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• Manage the financial aspects of construction projects and ensure completion within allocated budgets.
• Provide professional support to the project team while maintaining commercial information and ensuring compliance with contractual requirements.
• Liaise with customer representatives and third parties on commercial issues including variations, claims and additional payments.
• Review tender specifications to ensure all measurements and quantities are accounted for to achieve realistic commercial value.
• Conduct calls for quotations to invite approved/preferred/new subcontractors for competitive tenders.
• Review CS, architectural and M&E drawings to ensure special requirements are considered in tenders.
• Consult and align construction team on tender scope; highlight and seek agreement on special requirements.
• Communicate clearly on assumptions made during bill of quantities preparation.
