GRB PTE. LTD. is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to manage measurement, tender evaluation, and cost control across multiple projects.

You will prepare interim valuations, pricing, and contract variations while sourcing supplies and subcontractors for tendering. Site measurements and progress payments will be part of your routine, with close liaison to site personnel and main contractors. You should have a Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent and at least 3 years of relevant experience.

Formación

• Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying or Building from a recognized institution.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in the field.
• Independent, able to learn quickly and work under pressure.
• Good interpretation of drawings and technical knowledge.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin.

Responsabilidades

• Take off measurements and manage monthly progress claims and final accounts.
• Evaluate tenders and prepare tender documents and quotations.
• Carry out quantity take-offs for tendering projects.
• Source supplies and subcontractors for tender quotations.
• Prepare interim valuations, pricing, and contract variation documentation.
• Conduct site measurements and site visits.
• Evaluate subcontractor progress payments and issue certificates.
• Attend meetings with main contractors on site work, contracts, costs, and invoicing.
• Review cost impacts of design changes and update budgets.
• Review plans and calculate quantity requirements; check material costs and contracts.
• Prepare reports, analyses, budgets, risk assessments and other documents.
• Keep track of materials and ordering; document changes in design and updating budgets.
• Other quantity surveying related duties.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for taking off measurement, monthly progress claim and final account
• Evaluation of tender, preparation of tender and quotation
• Carry out quantity take-off for tendering of projects
• Sourcing supplies and sub-contractors for quotation for tendering
• Project administration and documentation include preparation of interim valuations, pricing and agreement of contract variations
• Carry out site measurement
• Evaluation and certificate of sub-contractors' progress payments
• Performing site visits, assessments and projections
• Liaising with site personnel, contractors, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Attending meetings with main-contractors pertaining to site work, contracts matter, costings and invoicing and billings works
• Reviewing and advising the Project Manager on the cost impact for variation of project specification.
• Reviewing construction plans and preparing quantity requirements.
• Scrutinizing material costs and contracts to ensure the best deals.
• Preparing reports, analyses, contracts, budgets, risk assessment, and other documents.
• Keeping track of materials and ordering .
• Documenting any changes in design and updating budgets
• Other quantity surveying related duties

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree Holders in Quantity Surveying/Building or equivalent from a recognized Institution/University
• Minimum 3 years working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Independent, willing to learn and work under pressure
• Good technical knowledge and well versed in interpretation of drawings.
• Good communicative skills, able to interact with people of all levels and teamwork
• An independent and effective team player, collaborating on multi-projects of various stages, ensuring deliverable within set time & expectations.
