Hua Leong Group Pte. Ltd. in Singapore seeks an experienced Quantity Surveyor to manage civil/structural project costs, bids, and contracts. You will allocate work, liaise with contractors, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance across sites.

You will lead a team of Junior Quantity Surveyors, provide guidance on cost-saving strategies, and negotiate with stakeholders to keep projects on track. Fluency in English and Mandarin is required, with willingness to travel to multiple sites.

Formación

• Min 5 years of construction Quantity Surveyor experience for civil/structural project.
• Must be able to liaise with Mandarin-speaking associates.

Responsabilidades

• Allocate work to contractors and subcontractors to facilitate the smooth workflow process.
• Assess the degree of hazards and risks to ensure workplace safety is maintained.
• Communicate with the management, contractors and sub-contractors on adjustments to cost estimates to facilitate smooth transition of information.
• Conduct negotiations during the course of the project to ensure issues are resolved.
• Control project scope to meet objectives and enhance deliverables.
• Manage team of Junior Quantity Surveyors; advise on improvements and new strategies.
• Monitor project costs to ensure objectives are achieved in accordance with building contract law.
• Oversee and ensure compliance with standards.
• Prepare reports, analyses, budgets, risk assessment, and other documents; develop cost reduction strategies.
• Prepare tender and contract documents; scrutinize maintenance and material costs and contracts for best deals.
• Provide advice on contractual claims to manage project scope.
• Establish and maintain professional relationships with stakeholders.
• Travel from office to various sites as required.

• Preparing reports analyses, budgets, risk assessment, and other documents. Prepare cost analysis and form cost reduction strategies to ensure the overall value is enhanced for the project.

• Prepare tender and contract documents in accordance to the building and construction regulations. Scrutinizing maintenance and material costs, as well as contracts to ensure the best deals.

• Provide advice on contractual claims so that the project scope is managed.

• Establishing and maintaining professional relationships with external and internal stakeholders.

• Traveling from the office to various sites as required.

Requirements:

- Min 5 years of construction Quantity Surveyor experience for civil/structural project

- Communication in English and Mandarin (In order to liaise with Chinese speaking associate)
