Job summary

LY STRUCTURE ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to perform quantity take-offs, cost estimation, and tender support on Civil/Construction projects.

You will source quotations, evaluate bids, prepare progress claims, measure on site, and liaise with cost consultants to finalize project accounts. Five years' relevant experience and a Diploma in Quantity Surveying are required.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of working experience in Singapore related field.
• Executive specialized in Engineering - Civil/Construction/Structural or equivalent.
• Must be meticulous, committed, proactive and a creative thinker.
• Possess sense of urgency.
• Good communication and presentation skill.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Quantity take off and cost estimation based on technical details, drawings, and specifications.
• Sourcing quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Evaluation of supplier and subcontractor's quotations for competitive pricing.
• Assist in tender and contract documentation preparation and submission.
• Prepare and submit progress payment claims and variation orders.
• Attend site meetings and liaise with the cost consultant.
• Measure and value the work done on site.
• Evaluate and certify supplier and subcontractor's claims.
• Finalize and close out project accounts.
• Estimation of quantities and comparison of sub-contractor quotations.
• Reply to sales enquiries and prepare follow-up sales quotations.
• Prepare project subcontract and bills of quantities.

Job Requirement:

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Quantity Surveying
• At least 5 Year(s) of working experience in Singapore related field.
