Job summary

BENG KHIM ENGINEERING & CONSTRUCTION PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a quantity surveying professional to handle monthly progress claims, progress payments, and finalization of accounts. You will coordinate with main contractors, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure timely and accurate claims.

The role requires 2–3 years of experience in construction, with proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel. You will also assist with tender quotations and measurements as needed.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Building/Quantity Surveying.
• 2–3 years of experience in construction.
• Proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly progress claims, progress payments, and finalization of accounts.
• Source, liaise, and negotiate with suppliers and vendors on quotations and requirements.
• Handle subcontractor progress claims and finalization of accounts.
• Liaise with main contractor, client, and subcontractor on claims, variations, or other contractual matters.
• Follow up on payment responses/ payments from main contractor, consultants, and client.
• Assist with tender quotations and prepare measurement sheets and quantity take-offs as required.
• Handle other assigned duties or related tasks as required.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum diploma or degree holder in Building / Quantity Surveying.
• 2-3 Year(s) of working experience in Construction Sector.
• Able to work independently.
• Knowledge in computer software such as MS Words, MS Excel, etc.
• Processes good working attitude.
