Job summary

A leading measurement solutions firm in Singapore is looking for an experienced CMM Operator to manage dimensions and other inspection tools. You will be responsible for performing inspections, operating various measuring equipment, and ensuring compliance with measurement requirements. The ideal candidate must have a diploma in mechanical or polymer materials and relevant experience in three-coordinate measuring machines and injection molding parts measurement.

Qualifications

• Ability to independently write CMM programs and operate measuring machines.
• More than 2 years of CMM operation experience.
• At least 2 years of Injection molding parts measurement experience.
• Ability to communicate in English, Mandarin is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspection tasks according to the schedule.
• Conduct dimension measurements and issue reports.
• Implement 5S in the measurement room.
• Regularly inspect measuring equipment.

Job description

Job Summary

Responsible for the operation and daily maintenance of CMM/CMI/projector and other dimensional instruments, as well as the management of measurement auxiliary tools and inspection fixtures.

Job Duty and Responsibility

• Perform various inspection tasks according to the laboratory schedule.
• Perform dimension measurements of three-coordinate, projector, height gauge, etc. according to the requirements of the drawings and issue reports.
• Perform dimension measurements of process start-up parts and process inspection parts according to the requirements of the inspection work instructions and feedback the results.
• Responsible for annual product dimension inspection and reporting.
• Responsible for the implementation of 5S in the measurement room.
• Regularly inspect the measuring equipment and monitor the ambient temperature and humidity as required.
• Report unqualified items or equipment problems to superiors in a timely manner.
• Summarize and archive various records and reports.
• Participate in the annual review of measuring tools and the provision of MSA data.
• Participate in the acceptance of measurement auxiliary tooling and process inspection tools.
• Complete other tasks assigned by the leader.

Entry Requirements

• Diploma in Mechanical or polymer materials or other related majors. Non- Diploma with relevant experience and knowledge may be considered.
• Knowledge of GD&T and able to quickly read the drawings, understand the measurement requirements and measure according to the drawings.
• Able to independently write CMM programs and operate three-coordinate measuring machines, and those who know Wenze or Zeiss three-coordinate measuring machines are preferred.
• Able to use Three-coordinate CMM, FARO joint arm measuring instrument, projector, height gauge, roughness meter, micrometer, plug gauge, etc.

Working Experience

• More than 2 years of three-coordinate measuring machine (CMM) operation experience.
• At least 2-year Injection molding parts measurement experience.

Language Skills

• Be able to write and communicate in English well, able to communicate in Mandarin is an added advantage.

Other Requirements

• Must be able to travel overseas for training when required
• Can work either on permanet 8hr or 12-hr shift
