Job summary

WELEAD SOLUTIONS PRIVATE LIMITED in Singapore is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to strengthen our manufacturing QA team. You will analyze sample returns, coordinate cross-functional technical analysis, and support new product launches and sustaining lines.

You will work with SMT/PCBA and capacitor manufacturing processes to drive improvements and monitor SPC trends. The role requires a Diploma in Engineering and at least 3 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing QA.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering required.
• Minimum 3 years of manufacturing QA/problem-solving experience.
• Experience in SMT/PCBA assembly is an advantage.
• Good team player.

Responsibilities

• Assist with sample analysis of returned products to identify causes of field failure.
• Coordinate cross-functional technical analysis and communicate findings to customers.
• Support Quality Engineers in new product launches and sustaining lines.
• Monitor SPC trends and resolve quality issues with cross-functional teams.
• Prepare First Time Quality and scrap reports.
• Drive CAPA for 8D reports.
• Assist in quality improvement projects and audits.

Job description

• Assist with sample analysis of returned products from customers, to apply problem solving skills to identify causes of field failure and customer dissatisfaction
• Co-ordinate technical analysis by cross-functional team and communicate to customers
• Support Quality Engineers in new product launch and sustaining manufacturing lines.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to resolve operational quality issues, SPC trends
• Analyze and monitor key performance indicators, suggest improvements, and escalat...
• Prepare "First Time Quality" reports and scrap reports
• Drive and communicate CAPA for 8D reports for internal and external
• Assist in Quality Improvement projects
• Assist in "Production Part Approval Process" submission
• Assist in Quality planning and development
• Assist in Internal and External audit

Requirements

• Diploma in Engineering
• At least 3 years of similar experience in the manufacturing industry problem-solving skills
• Prior knowledge in SMT / PCBA assembly / Bulk Capacitor manufacturing process is an added advantage
• Good team player
