Job summary

GMP Technologies (S) Pte Ltd, based in Singapore, seeks a Quality Assurance Engineer to implement SPC/QA controls, lead CAPA activities, and support MRB decisions. The role emphasizes data reporting and customer-focused quality assurance across semiconductor processes.

Applicants should hold an engineering degree (physics or chemistry preferred) with 3–4 years' experience in SPC/QA in semiconductors, strong statistical skills, and familiarity with ISO 9001 and IATF16949 audits.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years' experience in SPC and QA in semiconductor environment.
• Strong knowledge of statistical techniques.
• Experience with ISO 9001 and IATF16949 audits preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deploy CAPA system and verify effectiveness.
• Lead or attend MRB to assure product quality for shipment.
• Handle customer claims.
• Prepare quality data reports (process/product capability).
• Coordinate CofC reporting to meet customer requirements.
• Conduct internal audits of processes and systems.
• Participate in customer audits.
• Contribute to continuous improvement aligned with company goals.

Responsibilities

• Deployment of Corrective & Preventive Action System, including verification of effectiveness of actions taken.
• Lead or attend Materials Review Board (MRB) to assure only quality of products to be shipped.
• Customer claim handling.
• Quality data reporting: Process / Product capability reporting (internal / external).
• Work with relevant departments to ensure CofC reporting is meeting customer requirements.
• Internal process and system audits.
• Participation in customer audits.
• Contributions to continuous improvement activities in support of company goals.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering, preferably in Physics or Chemistry background.
• Minimum of 3-4 years' experience in implementation of SPC and QA control measures in semiconductor environment.
• Strong in statistical techniques and use of statistical tools.
• Knowledge in use of quality tools - FMEA, SPC, DOE, PPAP, APQP, MSA
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Implementation of quality management systems (ISO 9001, IATF 16949), with audit experience.
• Proficient in using PC / Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) / SQL.
