Job summary

INTELLIPRO SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. seeks a Quality Engineer to lead the QMS and improve quality across marine projects. You will implement ISO 9001 standards, conduct internal and supplier audits, and mentor teams to achieve quality targets.

You will collaborate with engineering, production, and project teams, ensuring ASME codes and marine classifications are met, while maintaining documentation and supporting certification. Travel to shipyards is expected.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, marine, or quality engineering.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in quality engineering within marine, shipbuilding, or heavy engineering industries.
Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 QMS implementation and auditing.
Familiarity with ASME codes and marine classification society requirements (ABS, DNV, Lloyd’s Register).
Experience in continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen).
Excellent communication and leadership skills; able to influence cross-functional teams.
Proficiency in audit tools, root-cause analysis, and corrective/preventive action systems.
Willingness to work in shipyard environments and travel when required.
