Intellipro Group is seeking an experienced Electrical/Instrumentation Engineer to design, install, and commission marine electrical systems for vessels. You will ensure compliance with IEC/IEEE standards and ASME codes, and prepare schematics and wiring diagrams using CAD tools.
The role requires 5+ years in marine shipbuilding, familiarity with ABS/DNV/Lloyd’s Register rules, and hands‑on installation and commissioning experience in shipyards.
Responsibilities:
Design, install, and commission electrical and instrumentation systems for marine vessels.
Ensure compliance with marine industry standards, ASME codes, and relevant classification society requirements (ABS, DNV, Lloyd’s Register).
Prepare electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and instrumentation layouts using CAD tools.
Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and calibration of electrical/instrument systems onboard ships.
Collaborate with shipyard teams, naval architects, and project managers to meet project milestones.
Maintain documentation and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation Engineering.
5+ years’ experience in marine shipbuilding or offshore engineering projects.
Strong knowledge of marine electrical standards (IEC 60092, IEEE marine standards) and ASME codes for piping/electrical instrumentation.
Familiarity with marine classification society rules (ABS, DNV, Lloyd’s Register).
Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD Electrical, E‑plan) and instrumentation tools.
Hands‑on experience with installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of shipboard electrical/instrument systems.
Strong problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in shipyard environments.
Willingness to travel and work offshore when required.
