Job summary

Intellipro Group in Singapore is seeking a Quality Engineer to lead the Quality Management System (QMS) and drive continuous improvement across marine shipbuilding projects.

You will conduct internal and supplier audits, ensure ISO 9001 and ASME code compliance, collaborate with engineering and production teams, and develop documentation, procedures, and training to support certification and regulatory requirements, while traveling to shipyards as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Marine, or Quality Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years' quality engineering experience in marine/shipbuilding/heavy engineering.
• Strong ISO 9001 QMS implementation and auditing knowledge.
• Familiar with ASME codes and marine classification society requirements.
• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen.
• Excellent communication and leadership; able to influence cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to work in shipyard environments and travel.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain QMS in line with ISO 9001.
• Drive continuous improvement across shipbuilding processes focusing on efficiency, safety, quality.
• Conduct internal and supplier audits; ensure corrective/preventive actions.
• Ensure compliance with marine standards and ASME codes.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and project teams to meet quality objectives.
• Prepare documentation, procedures, and quality records for certification.
• Provide training and guidance on quality standards and continuous improvement.
