Job summary

INDICON PTE. LTD. is seeking a Quality Manager to oversee the quality and reliability of our electrical control products across the manufacturing process.

You will lead quality control and assurance, implement QA procedures, drive continuous improvement with Lean Six Sigma, and mentor manufacturing and QC teams while collaborating with suppliers to ensure compliance with customer specifications.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience in Quality Engineering in electrical manufacturing.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001.
• Proficient in quality tools and statistical analysis.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, evaluate, and maintain quality standards across manufacturing.
• Develop and implement QA procedures to meet standards.
• Identify process improvements to enhance quality and cost-effectiveness.
• Maintain inspection reports, test results, and CAPAs.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with suppliers on quality issues.
• Provide training to manufacturing and QC staff.

Job description

As a Quality Manager at Indicon, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our electrical control products throughout the manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities

1. Quality Control: Monitor, evaluate, and maintain quality standards through all stages of manufacturing, from raw materials to finished goods.

2. Quality Assurance: Develop and implement quality assurance procedures and protocols to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer specifications.

3. Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and work with teams to implement changes that enhance product quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.

4. Documentation: Maintain detailed records of quality control activities, including inspection reports, test results, and corrective action plans.

5. Root Cause Analysis: Investigate and analyze quality issues, identifying root causes and implementing corrective and preventive actions.

6. Supplier Quality: Collaborate with suppliers to assess their quality management systems and work together to resolve quality-related issues.

7. Training: Provide training and guidance to manufacturing and quality control personnel to ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices.

8. Testing and Inspection: Work with Test and Inspection teams to ensure products meet defined specifications.

9. Continuous Improvement: Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives, driving Lean Six Sigma and other quality methodologies within the organization.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a Quality Engineering role within the electrical manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, etc.).
• Familiarity with electrical testing and inspection techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis.
• Proficiency in quality tools and software (Six Sigma, statistical analysis, etc.).
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high‑quality products.
• Must have experience in a disciplined, responsive customer service‑oriented environment.
