Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in a Quality Engineering role in electrical manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001).
• Familiarity with electrical testing and inspection techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving, including root cause analysis.
• Proficiency in quality tools and software (Six Sigma, statistical analysis).
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality products.
• Experience in a disciplined, customer-service oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, evaluate, and maintain quality standards across manufacturing stages.
• Develop and implement QA procedures to meet industry standards and specs.
• Identify process improvements to enhance quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
• Maintain records of QC activities, inspections, test results, and CAPAs.
• Investigate quality issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with suppliers to assess quality management systems and resolve issues.
• Provide training to manufacturing and QC personnel on quality standards.
• Work with Test and Inspection teams to ensure product specifications are met.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives including Lean Six Sigma.

Job description

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, evaluate, and maintain quality standards through all stages of manufacturing, from raw materials to finished goods
• Develop and implement quality assurance procedures and protocols to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer specifications
• Identify areas for process improvement and work with teams to implement changes that enhance product quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness
• Maintain detailed records of quality control activities, including inspection reports, test results, and corrective action plans
• Investigate and analyze quality issues, identifying root causes and implementing corrective and preventive actions
• Collaborate with suppliers to assess their quality management systems and work together to resolve quality-related issues
• Provide training and guidance to manufacturing and quality control personnel to ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices
• Work with Test and Inspection teams to ensure products meet defined specifications
• Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives, driving Lean Six Sigma and other quality methodologies within the organization

Requirement

• Proven experience in a Quality Engineering role within the electrical manufacturing industry
