Job summary

GLOBAL RECRUITMENT AGENCY is seeking a Quality Controller to lead the QC team in Tuas, driving timely progress and ensuring product quality. You will train staff, perform checks on raw materials, in-process and finished parts using drawings and measuring tools, and document results.

Requirements include a Diploma, internal ISO 9001:2026 and ISO 14001:2026 auditor certs, and at least 3 years in manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Diploma certification required.
• Internal ISO 9001:2026 & ISO 14001:2026 auditor certs.
• At least 3 years in manufacturing QA.
• Understanding of ISO 9001 and product safety regs.
• Ability to interpret drawings and use measuring tools.
• Meticulous defect identification and reporting.
• Strong reporting and MS Office skills.
• Knowledge of QA documentation management.

Responsibilities

Job Description

1. Train, manage and guide QC team to ensure smooth operations and timely progress.
2. Perform checks for incoming raw material, in-process and final outgoing manufactured parts using technical drawings and appropriate measuring tools.
3. Request tools for routine calibration and periodic maintenance to ensure compliance. Keep proper records of all tools and equipment.
4. Identify defects, log errors and issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) when standards are missed.
5. Work closely with the production team to identify errors and propose corrective actions and preventive actions, where necessary.
6. Adhere to Quality Management Systems (QMS) – ISO 9001,and support internal and external audits.

Job Requirement

1. Diploma certification.
2. Internal auditor certification – ISO 9001 : 2026 & 14001 : 2026
3. Relevant work experience in manufacturing sector for at least 3 years.
4. Great understanding of manufacturing quality standards, best practices for quality assurance and product safety regulations.
5. Knowledgeable in interpreting technical drawings and operating measuring tools.
6. Meticulous observations skill – identify defects in raw materials and manufactured parts.
7. Communication skills – create concise reports and provide feedback and instructions to the team.
8. Technical skills – inspection, technical drawings, documentation management, word processing, Microsoft Office software.
