Job summary

Givaudan in Singapore is seeking a Quality Lab Analyst (6-month contract) to manage quality compliance for finished goods and raw materials. Work at 1 Woodlands Avenue 8, reporting to Head of Quality, SG, and ensure testing aligns with FSSC 22000 standards and EHS practices.

You will prepare samples, perform sensory and analytical testing, and participate in investigations while maintaining calibration of lab instruments in a dynamic, cross-functional environment.

Qualifications

• Laboratory or QC techniques required.
• Basic sensory evaluation capability; food manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience with lab systems, analytical equipment and microbiology testing.
• Knowledge of chemical substances, hazardous materials and related regulations.
• Diploma/Degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, Analytical Chemistry, Microbiology.
• Fresh graduates welcome; 1 year QC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare samples for sensory, chemical, physical and microbiological testing.
• Perform sensory and chemical/physical testing to meet specs.
• Approve or reject finished products and review test methods.
• Assist investigations and non-conformances of products.
• Maintain lab equipment and calibration schedules.
• Follow FSSC 22000 and EHS requirements daily.

Quality Lab Analyst, Taste & Wellbeing (6 month contract)

As a Quality Lab Analyst, T&W with Givaudan, you will manage the quality compliance for both finished goods and raw materials following stipulated guidelines.

Working location: 1 Woodlands Avenue 8

Reporting to: Head of Quality, SG

Main Responsibilities

• Prepare product and raw material samples for sensory, chemical, physical, and microbiological testing in accordance with standard procedures.
• Perform sensory evaluation, chemical, physical testing of flavoring products or ingredients to ensure that products are conforms to requirements standard and specification.
• Responsible for approval/rejection decisions on finished products and raw materials and review of test methods, specifications and procedures/work instructions
• Assist in quality investigations and non-conformances of products and raw materials
• Maintain laboratory equipment, monitor calibration schedules, and ensure instruments are in good working condition
• Carry out daily work activities in compliance with FSSC 22000 food safety standards and EHS practices

Main Requirements

• Laboratory or QC techniques required.
• Basic Sensory evaluation capability / food manufacturing industry experience preferred.
• Operational experience and affinity on laboratory system, analytical equipment and instruments and microbiological testing experience is preferred
• Knowledge of chemical substances, hazardous material and related local regulations.
• Diploma/Degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, Analytical Chemistry, Microbiology
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply, however preferrable to have minimum 1 year experience in QC
