Job summary

Givaudan in Singapore is seeking a Senior Quality Lab Analyst, Taste & Wellbeing, to manage quality compliance for finished goods and raw materials at our Singapore facility. You will prepare samples, perform sensory and chemical testing, and ensure conformance to standards.

The role reports to the Head of Quality, SG, and is based at 1 Woodlands Avenue 8. The ideal candidate holds a Diploma/Degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, Analytical Chemistry, or Microbiology, with fresh graduates

Qualifications

• Diploma/degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, Analytical Chemistry, or Microbiology.
• Fresh graduates are welcome; preferable to have minimum 2 years experience in QC.
• Knowledge of laboratory safety and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare product and raw material samples for sensory, chemical, physical, and microbiological testing in accordance with standard procedures.
• Perform sensory evaluation, chemical, physical testing of flavoring products or ingredients to ensure conformity to requirements and specifications.
• Approve/reject finished products and raw materials and review test methods and procedures/work instructions.
• Assist in quality investigations and non-conformances of products and raw materials.
• Maintain laboratory equipment, monitor calibration schedules, and ensure instruments are in good working condition.
• Carry out daily activities in compliance with FSSC 22000 food safety standards and EHS practices.
