Job summary

RECRUIT LYNC PTE. LTD. in Singapore invites a Quality Engineer to conduct FAI and dimensional inspections on moulded plastic components, ensuring product quality and process performance.

The role requires hands-on operation of CMM/SmartScope, CP/CPK analyses, and review of NPI samples, with a focus on GD&T interpretation and ISO compliance. Salary is up to SGD 4,200 per month, with a standard Monday–Friday schedule at Loyang Lane.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Quality Engineering experience.
• Experience with ISO quality management systems and NPI processes.
• Hands-on measurement with CMM/SmartScope for plastic components.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and GD&T basics.

Job description

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct First Article Inspection (FAI) and dimensional inspections on moulded plastic components.
• Perform Process Capability (CP/CPK) studies and measurements to evaluate product quality and process performance.
• Review and verify engineering sample submissions for moulding validation and new product introduction (NPI).
• Determine appropriate measurement methods and develop measurement work instructions for quality inspections.
• Operate precision inspection equipment, including Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) and SmartScope, to measure plastic components.
• Train QC Inspectors on measurement techniques, inspection procedures and equipment operation.
• Verify tooling changes and inspect product dimensions following tool modifications or rectification works.
• Ensure inspection activities comply with quality standards, ISO requirements and established procedures.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of relevant Quality Engineering experience.
• Experience in ISO quality management systems and NPI processes.
• Hands‑on experience operating CMM, SmartScope or other precision measuring equipment, particularly for plastic components.
• Able to interpret mechanical drawings with basic knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Familiar with FAI, dimensional inspection and CP/CPK analysis.
