Job summary

RECRUIT LYNC PTE. LTD. Loyang, Singapore is seeking a Quality Engineer to perform dimensional inspections on plastic components, conduct FAI, and verify CP/CPK-based process capability using CMM and SmartScope.

You will review engineering drawings, determine suitable measurement methods, and support NPI activities with sample evaluation and molding validation. The role requires hands-on inspection work and close collaboration with engineering and production to drive corrective actions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Quality Engineering experience.
• Experience with ISO quality management systems and knowledge of NPI processes.
• Hands-on experience operating CMM and SmartScope for plastic components; basic GD&T knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality inspections and dimensional measurements on plastic components to ensure compliance with engineering specifications.
• Conduct First Article Inspection (FAI) and evaluate process capability using CP/CPK measurements.
• Operate precision inspection equipment, including Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) and SmartScope, to verify product dimensions.
• Review engineering drawings and identify suitable measurement methods for different components.
• Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities, including sample evaluation and moulding validation.
• Develop measurement procedures and work instructions to ensure consistent inspection practices.
• Verify product dimensions following tooling modifications and process adjustments.
• Work closely with engineering and production teams to investigate quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure quality procedures comply with ISO standards and internal quality requirements.

Job description

Location: Loyang, Singapore
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
Salary: Up to $4,500 per month

• Experience in plastic injection moulding or precision manufacturing will be an advantage.
