Job summary

RECRUIT LYNC PTE. LTD. is seeking a Quality Engineer/QC Inspector to conduct FAI and dimensional inspections on moulded plastic components at Loyang Lane, Singapore. The role includes CP/CPK analysis, NPI support, and development of measurement procedures.

Applicants should have at least 2 years in quality engineering, experience with ISO QMS, and hands-on use of CMM/SmartScope. On-site work with standard hours from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant Quality Engineering experience.
• Experience in ISO quality management systems and NPI processes.
• Hands-on experience operating CMM, SmartScope or other precision measuring equipment, particularly for plastic components.
• Able to interpret mechanical drawings with basic knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Familiar with FAI, dimensional inspection and CP/CPK analysis.

Responsibilities

• Conduct First Article Inspection (FAI) and dimensional inspections on moulded plastic components.
• Perform Process Capability (CP/CPK) studies and measurements to evaluate product quality and process performance.
• Review and verify engineering sample submissions for moulding validation and new product introduction (NPI).
• Determine appropriate measurement methods and develop measurement work instructions for quality inspections.
• Operate precision inspection equipment, including Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) and SmartScope, to measure plastic components.
• Train QC Inspectors on measurement techniques, inspection procedures and equipment operation.
• Verify tooling changes and inspect product dimensions following tool modifications or rectification works.
• Ensure inspection activities comply with quality standards, ISO requirements and established procedures.
