Job summary

A leading manufacturing firm in precision engineering in Singapore is looking for a Quality Assurance professional. You will report to the Manager of Quality Assurance & Engineering and will be responsible for reviewing customer specifications and conducting internal audits. Active involvement in new process setups and quality issue investigations is essential. Candidates should have experience in quality management systems and be pro-active in driving process improvements.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of quality management systems (QMS).
• Experience in process control and chemical specifications.
• Ability to conduct root cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Perform review/gap analysis on customer’s specifications.
• Conduct quarterly internal audits for process compliance.
• Involve in new process setup and qualification.
• Investigate quality issues, troubleshoot, perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
• Translate customers' specifications to Work Instructions/SOPs
• Maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) of the company
• Perform internal audits to ensure process, product and system compliance with requirements
• Drive process improvements for better quality, stability, productivity and shorter cycle times
• Provide training to operators, inspectors and staff to meet team/company objectives
• Handle ad-hoc duties or projects as assigned by Manager or Management

Job Description

You will be reporting directly to the Manager, Quality Assurance & Engineering and required to undertake such duties as may be assign to you in the proper performance of your employment.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform review/gap analysis on customer’s specifications of chemical processes, with adequate process control measures
• To conduct quarterly internal audits to ensure process compliance according to plating specifications
• Actively involve in new process setup, buy‑off and qualification program
• Involve in quality issues investigations, troubleshooting, root cause analysis and corrective action implementation
• Translate customers’ specifications to Work Instructions/ SOPs
• Responsible for the maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS) of the company
• Perform internal audits to ensure process, product and system are complied with requirements
• Aggressive to trigger process improvement in terms of better quality, more stable process, improve productivity, reduce cycle time etc
• Provide training to the operators, inspectors and executive staff continuously to achieve team or Company’s objective
• Any other ad‑hoc duties or projects as and when assigned by the Manager or Management.
