Job summary

JEP ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. is seeking a QA Inspector to ensure quality of incoming materials and final products through precise inspections and measurements. You will stop production for nonconformances and generate NCR reports to drive corrective actions.

The role requires strong GD&T knowledge, experience with Zeiss CMM software, and the ability to read engineering drawings. Hands-on use of calipers, micrometres and profile projectors is essential.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Experience using Zeiss CMM software for inspection.
• Ability to analyse and interpret CMM measurement data.
• Proficient in reading/understanding engineering drawings and schematics.
• Hands-on with calipers, micrometres, profile projectors and other inspection tools.
• Experience with root cause analysis and problem-solving.
• Strong analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
• Able to collaborate across teams and manage multiple tasks.

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for quality assurance of incoming materials inspection.

• Authorized to stop production or delivery if any nonconformance is observed during process/final inspection.

• Perform final inspection and maintain product quality standards requested by the customer

• Dispose of waste generated in a proper manner

• Perform regular housekeeping to ensure a clean work area

• Perform in-house calibration activities as per the calibration plan

• Prepare QA reports for all outgoing products

• Raise NCR reports for nonconforming products.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).

• Experience using Zeiss Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) software.

• Ability to analyse and interpret CMM measurement data.

• Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.

• Hands-on experience with precision measuring instruments such as callipers, micrometres, profile projectors, and other inspection equipment.

• Experience with root cause analysis and problem-solving.
