Job summary

Coway Engineering & Marketing Pte Ltd is seeking a QC Inspector to perform dimensional and visual inspections across receiving, first piece, in-process and final checks, ensuring conformance to drawings, process sheets and customer requirements.

Senior QC Inspectors will guide juniors, interpret GD&T independently, operate CMM systems and support documentation, ensuring AS9100 compliance and traceability in line with company procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 years of experience in product inspection or quality control.
• Able to handle caliper, micrometer, height gauge, bore gauges and Profile Projectors.
• Basic knowledge of ISO/AS9100 standards preferred CMM or vision system usage experience required.
• Able to read and write in English.

Responsibilities

• Perform Receiving, First-Piece, In-process and Final Inspections as required.
• Perform required dimensional & visual inspection, verification of vendors reports (includes mill and surface treatment certificate) and quantity checks.
• Perform First Piece and In-process inspections and records the inspection result.
• Conduct dimensional and visual checks as per checklist, sampling plans and customer requirements.
• Identify, segregate the NC products with NC reports and escalating to Quality Technician and Engineer for disposition and actions.
• Verify calibration status before use of measuring tools and proper handling of measuring equipment.

Job description

The QC Inspector performs dimensional and visual inspections across all quality checkpoints including receiving, first piece, in-process and final inspections. The role ensures that products conform to engineering drawings, process sheets and customer requirements. Senior QC Inspectors are additionally responsible for guiding junior inspectors, interpreting GD&T independently, operating CMM systems and supporting documentation or measurement equipment management. Both roles are essential to maintaining production quality and traceability in accordance with AS9100 and company procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Inspection Operations

• Perform Receiving, First-Piece, In-process and Final Inspections as required.

2. Verification of Incoming Material & Subcontracted Goods

• Perform required dimensional & visual inspection, verification of vendors reports (includes mill and surface treatment certificate) and quantity checks.

3. First Piece/ In-process Inspections

• Perform First Piece and In-process inspections and records the inspection result.

4. Final / Outgoing Inspections

• Conduct dimensional and visual checks as per checklist, sampling plans and customer requirements.

5. Control of Non-Conforming Products

• Identify, segregate the NC products with NC reports and escalating to Quality Technician and Engineer for disposition and actions.

6. Equipment & Tool Handling

• Verify calibration status before use of measuring tools and proper handling of measuring equipment.

• Strong GD&T interpretation and drawing analysis skills.

• Knowledge and Hand-on skilled in CMM operation (preferably with programming exposure).
