Job summary

Richemont in Singapore seeks a Quality Control Inspector to uphold top standards for watch repairs within our Technical Operations team. You will contribute to sales and after-sales excellence by enforcing procedures and brand specs.

Responsibilities include comprehensive inspections, recording QC failures, maintaining detailed records, and supporting inventory. Training is provided; collaboration with Technical and Admin teams is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Good visual acuity and meticulous attention to detail.
• Prior experience in quality control or the watch industry is advantageous but not required.
• Able to work autonomously with strong collaboration and team orientation.
• Proficient with MS Office; familiarity with SAP is a plus.
• Strong collaboration with Technical and Admin teams and reporting to the line manager.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive technical quality control inspections on watch repairs in line with brand specifications.
• Document and upscale quality control failures to the Head of Technical Operations for resolution.
• Maintain accurate records of QC failures and ensure proper storage or disposal of used spare parts.
• Proactively identify and report technical issues to support continuous improvement.
• Assist with inventory counts and ensure workstation cleanliness and safety.

MAIN PURPOSE

Reporting to the H e a d of Tec hnical Operatio ns , SEA this role is responsible for upholding the highest technical quality standards in watch repairs, directly contributing to the excellence of sales and after-sales services .

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• 1. Technical Quality Control & Assurance
  • Conduct comprehensive technical quality control inspections on all watch repairs, ensuring strict adherence to established procedures and brand specifications.
  • Document and upscale quality control failures to the H e a d of Tec hnical Operatio ns for appropriate resolution and further processing.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of all quality control failures.
  • Proactively identify and report technical issues, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and providing constructive feedback to management.
• 2. Operational Compliance & Workstation Management
  • Adhere strictly to service centre policies regarding authorized repairs, ensuring no unauthorized watches or non-watch products are serviced.
  • Ensure the proper disposal or storage of used spare parts, maintaining a clean, organized, and safe workstation.
  • Maintain all equipment in optimal working condition to facilitate effective daily operations.
• 3. Inventory Support
  • Assist with periodic stock counts and inventory management as required .

REQUIREMENT

• Good visual acuity and meticulous attention to detail .
• No formal prio r experience in a co mpa rable role is mandatory as training will be provided, but prior experience in quality control or the watch industry is highly advantageous .
• Proven ability to work autonomously and demonstrate self-motivation, coupled with strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative team-player mindset.
• Proficiency in standard computer applications (e.g., MS Office Suite, internet browsers, email); familiarity with SAP is a plus.
